What is an "Eyemate"? Why aren't they called "guide-dogs"? Read below to find out what is special about these dogs and what our philosophy is. Let's start by talking about the United States. In Japan, all dogs working for the blind are called by the term "moh-doh-ken"(dog which leads the blind). But in the United States, there are several terms such as "Seeing Eye Dog", "guide dog", and "leader dog" that are used in describing dogs related to the blind. If you have a dictionary on hand, try looking up the term "Seeing Eye".

Japan Zone - gJapan Zone - I think the title conjures up one of two impressions of what the site is about. One, it provides a detailed, in-depth profile of a country which, while having a profound influence on the late twentieth century, is still shrouded in a cultural mist for many people; getting to the heart of this corporate behemoth, it shows you what makes it tick, guiding you through its murkier cultural waters and generally bombarding you with an avalanche of superfluous metaphors. Or perhaps it runs deeper than that....h
